Ingredients:
Boneless chicken breasts
Fresh garlic
Fresh basil
Fresh parsley
Olive oil
Tomatoes
Thyme
Oregano
Paprika
Cheese (optional)
An Italian chicken recipe is one of the best ways to spend an evening fine dining, especially because the food is overall very lean and healthy. And the aroma of the thyme and garlic are definitely going to make mouths water!
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and (optional) pound the chicken breasts
Create a mixture of salt, pepper, thyme, garlic, oregano and paprika and sprinkle over the chicken
Add in olive oil to your liking and marinate the chicken on both sides with the oil and spice mixture; let sit for 15 minutes
Get a baking dish and spread oil around, placing the marinated chicken within
Slice up tomatoes and arrange the slices on the sides or scattered, however you’d like
Cover the dish within the oven for ten minutes
Once ten minutes are up, uncover the dish and leave the breasts to cook until the chicken’s internal temperature reads 165 degrees
When the temperature is reached, take the chicken out of the oven and sprinkle parsley and basil over the top as well as any cheese you’d like, as garnishes
You’re all set!
Scrumptious Lasagna

1 lb of cooked lasagna noodle
2 jars (16 oz) meatless sauce

2 lbs of ground beef
2 beaten eggs
½ cup of chopped onion
1 teaspoon of salt
2 chopped up garlic cloves

Follow lasagna noodle packaging instructions— be sure the noodles are both tender and firm
Drain the noodles and keep them warm
Toss the ground beef, garlic and onion in an oiled skillet until the beef is cooked to your liking
Sprinkle in the meatless sauce, salt and Italian seasoning and stir
Simmer the mixture in the skillet on low burn for 15 minutes while prepare a separate bowl with the beaten eggs, mozzarella cheese and ricotta cheese
Now it’s time for the fun— grease a large baking pan and put together the first layer of noodles (make sure the noodles hang over the sides of the pan)
Pour in beef, sauce, ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese mixture
Add another layer of pasta and then pour on top the aforementioned mixture (keep at this process until all noodles and sauce is used)
Fold over the layers of the pasta that were at the edges back over the top and smooth over remaining sauce as the final layer
Sprinkle over the lasagna parmesan cheese and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
Bon appetit!
