We take our inspiration from different sources. Here at YourMadeInItaly.com, we look back to the traditions of our ancestors with skills passed down from generation to generation. We use these traditions to bring you exciting, unique and amazing items. For Alessandro Sartori, his inspiration came from his youth.

The New York Times Style Magazine article quotes Sartori as saying, “I remember being just 3 or 4 and watching in awe as she altered wedding dresses and winter coats. Being surrounded by sketches and patterns and fittings has always felt like my most natural habitat.”

You can see the childhood experiences in his work. The brand has moved towards its roots with vintage cars and Leonardo da Vinci being some of the inspirations in the present day.

That’s such an exciting way to look at fashion. We are all the sum product of our experiences to date. As you design something it has a little of your most abiding experiences woven into the fabric of your creations. That’s why the YourMadeInItaly.com products are so bespoke – and so sought after.
